Electrology Program

The Electrology program gives a balance of theoretical and practical education in a 600-hour program. It provides the technical knowledge and related experience pertaining to permanent hair removal or superfluous hair on the face and body using Galvanic (Electrology), Thermology (Flash & Manual), and the Blend. The curriculum is supported by in-classroom experiments to illustrate the affects of the different treatments and best use of the technology.
Graduates of the Electrology program will be prepared to take the Oregon State exams and feel confident about entering the permanent hair removal industry as a professional electrologist and/or thermologist.
Estimated Completion Time:
Courses are available in a full time or part time format. The course is designed as a 600-hour resident course. The course includes 300 hours of theory and 300 hours of practical experience. Full time students can expect to finish the resident training in about four and half months.
