Dermaplaning is a deep manual exfoliation of the skin using a sterile surgical blade to gently remove dead skin from the epidermis.
Dermaplaning is a safe and quick way to improve your skin’s overall appearance and texture.
Using a disposable surgical-grade scalpel, our student estheticians will thoroughly go over your desired treatment area and remove any dull and lackluster skin. This treatment leaves the skin soft and smooth with the added benefit of removing peach fuzz.
This facial treatment includes a double cleanse, exfoliation using a sterile surgical blade, a mask, and custom product choices. Dermaplaning can be done as a stand-alone treatment or added to many of our other amazing services to boost results.
This service is suitable for most skin types with the exception of inflammatory acne, coarse hair, and overly irritated skin conditions such as rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis, to name a few.
This service is usually completed in 45-60 minutes on its own and includes a customized moisturizer post-treatment. A custom mask and select ampules are an excellent way to enhance your results and leave your skin glowing.
For those looking to intensify your skincare results, dermaplaning is a fantastic addition to Laser Resurfacing, Microneedling, or any chemical peel. Discuss this option with your student esthetician during your service consultation, as not all skin conditions are indicated for this add-on service.
This service can be scheduled every 3-4 weeks depending on skin condition, treatment plan, maintenance, and home care regimen.
Skincare improvements are sustained and improved upon by incorporating professional-grade skincare. Please check with your student esthetician to discuss which products we can recommend to protect and ensure your most optimal results from this service.
Did you know many of our advanced esthetics services can be complimented with additional treatments from the spa side of our school?
Our general esthetics program, Masters Esthetics, teaches nearly 20 different soothing facials and health-promoting skin treatments. Speak with your Advanced Esthetics student esthetician to see if a facial service, such as an enzyme facial or mask, is recommended between your advanced treatments for optimal results.
