The Application Process

For nearly 40 years, the Aesthetics Institute has made the commitment to teach highly personalized, hands-on esthetics training. We ensure each student receives the highest level of individualized instruction by limiting the number of students we enroll for each class.

This small class-size policy ensures we can continue to offer an unparalleled level of esthetics education and allows each student to have ample one-on-one time with our instructors.

Step By Step Process of Applying to Our Institution

Schedule a campus tour (optional)

We want you to see our facilities, speak with current students and instructors, and see if one of our programs could be a good fit for your esthetics education goals.

While recommended, a tour is not required to apply and attend the Aesthetics Institute.

Fill out and submit our online application

Fill out the secure online application. The application fee is $35 and must be paid via credit or debit card at the time of submission to process your application.

You will receive an email confirming we have received your application.

We will process your application and email you instructions on how to sign your enrollment paperwork

Once we receive your complete application and application fee, processing your application usually takes us about a day. You will receive an email notifying you once we have finished processing your application.

This email will include instructions on how to create an online profile in our secure Student Information System (SIS). Here, you will sign your enrollment documents, get information on how to pay your enrollment fee, apply for the extended tuition payment option (if you so choose), and find instructions on how to upload the additional required documents to complete your enrollment.

We will email you these instructions, so please check your email (and spam folder) frequently!

Review and sign your Review and sign your enrollment paperwork in our secure online Student Information System (SIS)

If you have any questions about the information contained in these documents, you may request a virtual meeting with an admissions representative, for which a link will be provided.

Secure your seat and start date by paying the non-refundable $250 Enrollment Fee

This can also be done online at the same time you sign and return your enrollment documents in our online Student Information System (SIS). You will be able to pay this fee once you create your profile in our secure SIS.

Upload your required supporting documents to secure and finalize your enrollment at the Aesthetics Institute!

We know there are a lot of steps in this process, but you are nearly done!

You must submit a few more pieces of information to finalize your enrollment at the Institute. We can collect some of this information digitally, but for some, we will need physical copies.

Read on to see your final required steps for enrollment. The state of Oregon requires some of this information, and some is to maintain our school’s accreditation.

Please Note:

Failure to complete any one of these steps will cause a delay in your enrollment, and you may possibly forfeit your desired start date.

Required Supporting Documents To Finalize Your Enrollment

Your official, sealed transcripts from either high school or college or the transcript equivalent if you completed your GED

We cannot accept a copy of your diploma.

Please contact the school where you graduated and request your official transcripts be sent directly to the Aesthetics Institute. If you have your transcripts sent directly to yourself, DO NOT open them.

They can be hand-delivered to the Institute, or you can mail them to us inside another envelope, as long as the transcripts themselves are still sealed in their original envelope.

Official transcripts are the ONLY document we do NOT need to have BEFORE you start your esthetics program at our school.

We would like to have them before you start your program, but we understand that some high schools and colleges can take a long time to send these documents. Please request your transcripts early in this application process to ensure the Institute receives them in a timely manner.

Signed Social Security Number or Federal Tax ID Number Document

We do NOT need to see the physical card, but we simply need you to provide us with your number and sign a document affirming this is yours. You will be able to sign this document in our Student Information System (SIS).

A copy of your non-expired state ID card or Passport

You will be able to upload a photo of your official ID via our secure Student Information System (SIS).

*Please note that we are required by the state of Oregon to collect these above three pieces of information. Failure to provide any one of these can cause your enrollment to be canceled. The state of Oregon will not allow you to schedule or take your esthetics license test without these three pieces of information.*

Three weeks prior to your class start date, your kit fee is due to the school.

You may pay your kit fee at any time after submitting all of the required enrollment documentation, but you must pay this fee no later than three weeks prior to your class start date.

Failure to pay your kit fee will result in the cancellation of your enrollment at the Aesthetics Institute.
