ONLY YOURx product lines are only available to licensed beauty professionals and are used on clients in professional spa settings.
You will learn about these products and use them on clients when you are attending the in-house portion of your esthetics program.
Here we have created a brief overview of the products you will learn about and use daily in our Masters Esthetics program.
While these are simple explanations, you will learn much more about each specific product you will dispense to clients during your studies.
Please note that as product lines and industry trends change, so do the specific products we use at the school. This product list is not meant to be comprehensive and will change regularly.
Your use of professional products while learning and performing services at the school is included in your Kit Fee.
MASKS
Moisture Infusion Mask
A creamy mask that infuses the skin with moisture and nourishment with Vitamins C, E, and B5. It gives a boost to the complexion and soothes the skin, while powerful humectants leave the skin feeling hydrated and refreshed.
This mask contains ingredients such as Sodium Hyaluronate, a powerful humectant capable of binding 1800 times its weight in water. It acts like a moisture magnet to pull water between cells, directly increasing the stratum corneum moisture content.
Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate is a stabilized form of Vitamin C that easily penetrates the epidermis and rapidly restores to pure Vitamin C in the skin. As an antioxidant, it also scavenges free radicals.
Especially suited for sensitive, thinning, or mature skin, this mask will also boost circulation while smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles.
Gelloid Treatment Mask
A refreshing, stimulating mask that activates the skin’s own self-cleansing mechanism. Clove, mint, and camphor oils help to promote circulation for a more efficient exchange of critical nutrients that the skin needs to remain healthy.
It also contains Burdock, credited with its antibacterial properties, and helps to regulate oil production. With both antiseptic and hydrating action, this mask can be used on either oily skin or dull, lifeless, asphyxiated skin.
Cocoa-Buriti Regenerating Mask
A rich emollient mask with ultra-soothing, repairing, and regenerating properties, this mask is great for sensitized, dry, or dehydrated skin. It contains various oils and seed butters that are rich in vitamins and fatty acids that help to both nourish the skin and replenish vital lipids within the moisture barrier.
This mask is perfect for anytime the skin needs extra help in repair and is particularly good for post-procedures such as chemical peels or microdermabrasion.
Purifying Mineral Mask
This creamy clay mask helps to purge the skin of impurities, absorb extra oil, and decrease irritation. Containing ingredients such as Rosemary extract, which assists in regulating oil secretions along with its purifying and astringent properties.
Bilberry contains lactic acid to exfoliate and refine the texture of the skin, along with stimulating skin cell turnover. Kaolin is a white clay with excellent oil-absorbing properties that minimizes the pores while refining texture.
This mask also contains several different sebum regulators to help keep sebum under control. This refreshing mask will also stimulate microcirculation, leaving the skin glowy, refined, and clear.
Pore Refining Mask
This creamy mask features a subtle, natural lavender scent and purges the skin of impurities, absorbs extra oil, and reduces irritation, all while maintaining moisture-balanced skin. Containing properties such as Bentonite, a colloidal clay that absorbs oil and impurities, minimizing the pores and refining the texture of the skin.
Avocado oil is a natural emollient that is rich in Vitamins A, D, and E and alleviates dehydration and irritation while helping to repair the natural moisture barrier of the skin. Shea butter is an emollient clinically proven for its exceptional healing properties on irritated skin. Lavender oil regulates sebum production while accelerating the healing of the skin and contains antibacterial and soothing properties.
Finally, we have comfrey. Comfrey has a long history of use as a topical agent for healing wounds. It aids in the regeneration of damaged skin by stimulating new tissue growth while also soothing and calming sensitivity. This mask will minimize the pores and refine the texture of the skin, leaving it soft, radiant, and clear.
Cucumber Ice Mask
This super hydrating mask cools, desensitizes, and calms the skin. Containing ingredients such as cucumber, a moisture-binding anti-inflammatory ingredient that soothes irritations, also happens to give this mask its wonderful scent.
Aloe Vera is known for its dramatic healing properties that are due to its amino acids- the building blocks for the formation of new cells. The Aloe also reduces inflammation, swelling, redness, and itching. Finally, we have Sodium Hyaluronate, a powerful humectant that is capable of binding 1800 times its weight in water, increasing the moisture content in the stratum corneum.
This mask will effectively moisturize and soothe stressed skin while also enhancing elasticity and softening fine lines and wrinkles.
Gentle Herbal Scrub
An ultra-gentle, creamy scrub with natural exfoliating particles. You get both the benefits of physical exfoliation with the exfoliating beads and chemical exfoliation with Glycolic Acid for triple-action skin smoothing.
Containing Microcrystalline Cellulose beads which are plant-based, environmentally safe, smooth, spherical beads that remove dead skin cells gently without irritation, therefore eliminating the usual concerns with physical exfoliants such as micro-tears in the skin or the impact traditional plastic microbeads have on the environment.
To assist with exfoliation, we have Glycolic Acid, a powerful alpha hydroxy acid that helps to loosen dead skin cells for ease in removal. Paired with Panthenol, a small molecule that easily penetrates the skin and is converted into Vitamin B5- found in every living cell and is a normal constituent of healthy skin, known for its exceptional healing properties.
This scrub is gentle enough to be used every morning in place of a cleanser to help stimulate cell renewal and give the skin a healthy glow.
Chamomile Cream Scrub
This gentle exfoliating cream has a rich mousse-like texture that gently sloughs away dead skin cells for a clearer, healthier complexion. Containing ingredients such as Chamomile that not only accelerate healing but also diminish the discomfort of skin irritation, including redness, itching, and pain.
Calendula, derived from the marigold flower, is an emollient with amazing soothing and antiseptic properties that calm sensitivities, abrasions, and chapped skin. Paired with the Microcrystalline Cellulose beads- smooth, plant-based, spherical beads that remove skin cells gently without irritating the skin, this scrub is gentle enough to be used every morning in place of a cleanser to give the skin a radiant glow.
Pineapple Refining Scrub
A creamy, exfoliating scrub with both enzyme and alpha hydroxy acid exfoliants, regular use helps to brighten a dull complexion and stimulate cellular renewal, leaving skin clear, bright, and radiant.
The Bromelain, derived from pineapple, is a keratin-specific enzyme that digests dead skin cells, gently dissolving surface dead skin cells, while the Microcrystalline Cellulose beads sweep the dead skin cells and impurities away.
Another key ingredient in this scrub is Guava, a cleansing and decongesting ingredient with antiseptic and astringent properties. This scrub is gentle enough to be used every morning in place of a cleanser to reveal a brighter, more radiant complexion.
Orange Purifying Scrub
A scrub containing creamy cleansing grains with a plant-based surfactant and antibacterial botanicals to help control oil and exfoliate dead skin cells. The Sage, Witch Hazel, and Burdock decongest the tissue and leave the skin feeling fresh and clean.
Paired with the Microcrystalline Cellulose beads are smooth, plant-based, spherical beads that remove skin cells gently without irritating the skin, eliminating the general concerns with physical exfoliants such as micro tears within the skin or negative environmental impact from plastic microbeads.
This scrub is gentle enough to be used every morning in place of a cleanser to reveal a brighter, more radiant complexion.
Peppermint Clay Scrub
This scrub is a unique clay-based scrub that helps to control oil while exfoliating dead skin cells to help purge follicular congestion. Containing ingredients such as Kaolin and Bentonite, both clays with excellent oil-absorbing properties, they minimize the pores and remove impurities which refines the texture of the skin.
Panthenol is a small molecule that easily penetrates the skin and is converted into Vitamin B5, which is a normal constituent of healthy skin and is known for its exceptional healing property. Paired with the Microcrystalline Cellulose beads- smooth, plant-based spherical beads that remove skin cells gently without irritating the skin, this scrub can occasionally be swapped out in place for a regular cleanser, leaving the skin soft, clear, and fresh.
Gels & Moisturizers
Gentle Hydrating Gel
This water-based gel provides quick absorption to lock moisture in the surface skin cells. Containing ingredients such as Aloe Vera, with its dramatic healing properties due to its amino acids, the building blocks for the formation of new cells, it also reduces inflammation, swelling, redness, and itching.
Chamomile is a proven anti-inflammatory agent that accelerates healing, neutralizes skin irritations, and counteracts redness and itching. Finally, we have Sodium PCA, a high-performance humectant that binds moisture to cells, found naturally in the skin as the NMF (natural moisturizing factor).
This gel infuses needed moisture into the skin, softening lines and improving elasticity while leaving the skin moist and supple.
Moisture Replenishing Cream
A luxurious lightweight moisturizer with anti-aging peptide and Vitamin C Ester to promote collagen synthesis and increase elasticity to diminish wrinkles.
Containing ingredients such as Sodium Hyaluronate, a powerful humectant capable of binding 1800 times its weight in water. It acts like a moisture magnet to pull water in between the cells, directly increasing the moisture content within the stratum corneum.
Hybrid Sunflower Oil contains a high content of gamma linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid that is naturally present in skin lipids. Helps to protect and maintain the skin barrier naturally within the stratum corneum. Finally, we have multiple powerful antioxidants that inhibit the damaging and aging effects of free radicals.
This rich, protective moisturizer absorbs into the skin almost instantly, leaving the skin moist, supple, and velvety soft.
