AESTHETICS INSTITUTE

Scholarship Opportunities

Outside of private scholarships, the school offers a variety of in-house financing options, which we believe will serve the needs of most students who attend our school. You can learn more about those plans here: Financial Plans

Private Scholarships

There are also many private scholarships available for esthetic and cosmetology students and other specific scholarships for people attending trade schools, such as ours.

In addition, we encourage you to look into hyper-specific private scholarships that you may be eligible to receive based on your personal life experience and demographics.

We have listed a few scholarship opportunities below, but please know there are many more available, but we cannot endorse these scholarships, as it can be difficult to determine the legitimacy of each and every one.

We encourage you to proceed with common sense and caution. You should NEVER pay to apply for a scholarship and be wary of how much personal information you are willing to give out on each application.

State Funding Opportunities

Oregon Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)

We are eligible to receive funding through the Oregon Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). You can find out more about this funding opportunity and eligibility here.

To apply for this funding, start by finding your local Workforce office by clicking the map. You will be redirected to the state’s page with further instructions. We have found that these offices are often very busy, so we recommend going in person to speak with them.

Federal Funding Eligibility

While we have a variety of affordable payment plans available, including an interest-free option, but unfortunately, we do not accept financial aid using FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or any other federal funding sources at this time. This also includes not being able to accept GI Bill benefits or 529 College Savings Plans.

The National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS) is the accrediting agency that some schools will go through to meet minimum guidelines for federal standards to receive Title IV funding. Oregon exceeds those minimum guidelines, in which we are in full compliance as being licensed by the Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission.

Since we do not participate in federal financial aid (FAFSA), we have chosen not to pursue federal accreditation at this time. It doesn’t mean that it is not something that we might consider in the future, but just not at this current point in time.

Once you graduate from one of our esthetics programs at our school, you will need to pass the Oregon Esthetics Licensing Exams to receive your esthetics license. An Oregon esthetics license has a significant amount of credibility and merit on both a national and international level and has substantial license reciprocity opportunities in many states across America.

" As a student at this school, I definitely felt very confident leaving. Instructors are always available to help, and I felt like I couldn’t have gone to a better school to learn everything and anything about skin. ”
