Our In-House, Hands-On
Learning Difference

All students begin their program by studying theory online.

After you complete the course’s online portion, you will move to the in-house, hands-on practical training portion of the course at our school facilities. This is where you will begin performing practical procedures on other students and clients. Practical application is critical to preparing students for the industry.

We have actual clients every day at our school, and you will help them when you are ready, under the supervision of our expert instructors.

We have been offering services to the public from our students for nearly 40 years, and we are busy! We think it is vital for your education in esthetics to see real clients to practice and develop your skills.

Much of our attention is given to quality practical application at the Aesthetics Institute to ensure our students develop competency upon a strong foundation of skills.

We are a hands-on technology and equipment forward program.

Unfortunately, the standard in the esthetics industry is to NOT train students by using the actual equipment they will be expected to use once they are working. We disagree with this model.

While buying and maintaining the newest and highest-demand technology is expensive, the value our students receive from being able to touch and practice with our machines every day is unparalleled in the industry.

The Spa Experience

Your education should prepare you to enter the workforce confidently. In the cosmetology industry, your education is not complete until you have experienced working with clients.

The Aesthetics Institute has created an atmosphere to assist students in attaining that real-life experience.

Students first learn how to treat clients in our group practical area. Next, our students use private treatment rooms to treat clients. Private treatment rooms replicate a work setting as closely as possible. Instructors check each treatment before it is performed and are always available for assistance.

Our goal is for you to be an expert in the field on the FIRST day you start your career in esthetics after graduating from our Institute. We recognize that your reputation is OUR reputation, and we do not take this responsibility lightly.
